‘The Wandering Wicklow Man’
Pat Jordan has been in the music business for 50 years and has remained up there amongst the best when it comes to Irish/Country music and entertainment. With 13 successful albums to their name, Pat and the band receive regular radio airplay all over the UK and across the water, and have won several awards. The latest been Awarded Best Band on the UK Irish Circuit in the Irish World newspaper polls.
Pat and the band have also extended their repertoire to include extra work in film and television and songwriting:-
Pat and the band appeared in ITV’s ‘Cold Feet’ providing the entertainment at the stag party of ‘Adam’ played by James Nesbitt. They also appeared in the film ‘My Beautiful Son’ which starred Julie Walters and American actor Paul Risler and Pats old friend Ricky Tomlinson.
The Bands latest album When I’m Out Tonight which features the title song penned by another good friend Dave Sheriff released. In 2019 Pat had huge success with a song entitled ‘Two of a Kind’ which he co-wrote with Mick McMackin. The song is a tribute to Mother Theresa and Princess Diana. The album ‘Two of a Kind’ has been a bestseller for the band receiving massive airplay in the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
This international outfit is much in demand for corporate events, dinner dances and concerts. They also regularly take trips to perform in Spain, Greece and Portugal. In November 2004, they did a round the world trip playing Singapore, Australia, Figi, and Los Angeles
2020 was looking busy with trips booked to Ibiza, Mexico, Portugal, Torrox, and Malaga but alas Covid 19 put a stop to those plans. Since lockdown Pat has done a live Facebook stream for his many fans every Sunday at 8.00 O’clock
But is now looking to his first gig since lockdown at Gunton Hall on the 1st and 2nd of June 2021
